Alongside creating a website to promote my own work , I have created a business Instagram account. As Instagram is one of the most popular social networking sites – especially for photography i thought this would be good to get my name out there. Under photographs you can hashtag key words which then people throughout the world can find you under the explore page and follow and explore my images.
In my bio I have also added my personal website so that people can then look at that which also opens the option for contact etc. Instagram is handy as Its an application on my phone I can upload frequently and everywhere which is something that grabs attention.
As well as creating an Instagram page and a website I have created business cards so that I can give out to people via hand and leave in business this included both my Instagram account and website. After taking Images at Singapore Lounge I left business cards so that at the bar people can come and take them, since then I have interest in taking interior design photographs.
This is the design of my Business card. It just contains all the information thats needed, my name , photographer, phone number, email, Instagram account and website.
I ordered the business cards from vista print where I got 100 for £8.99 to test out initially. Before ordering I went down to chatham printers to have a feel of the different paper types I could get it on based on what Vista offered me. I choose to go for a nice thick design which was a 16-point cardstock. This was the second thickest they did , following 14 point. Printed with a matt finish.
