After researching decorative qualities to create a ‘modern’ and ‘youthful’ vibe. I liked the idea of sketches and mixing them with the imagery. Here I was practicing with experimental sketching to layout some images. The sketches came from elements of the photographs. To do this I created a new layer on top of the image in photoshop and with the Wacom tablet and pen tool I sketched rough outlines around them. I then moved the sketches around accordingly to where I best thought placed. For some of the images I created a background page, either from colour or a sketch, this framed the image and again in response to my design research felt worked well in almost creating a ‘youthful’ and edgy effect.
